MMP and SCTE
I have a mamba max pro and a Tacon 4000kv 550 brushless motor with a 18t pinion. I had this set up in my sc10 4x4 and just bought a Losi scte and intalled the same set up in it. Oh yeah and a 6600 60-100c 2s lipo, savoy 1258 and CC ext BEC. I can only get about 4-5 minutes out of it before the Esc stops and blinks red with the fan continuing to run. I still have my steering and after a min or so it's back and running then it does it again. The motor is only 130-140 degrees. And i still have 3.9v in each cell so i know its not the lipo cutoff. Does the MMP overheat and quit? Should I drop to a 14t pinion and go from there. I'm puzzled because this is the exact same set up I had in a different truck. Anyone???
