You would get more life out of your lipo's by having the charger stop at 4.18v/cell instead of completely topping it off. Charge rates of 2 and 3C have no ill effects on good lipo's when using a high quality charger.
+1 it's all about the charger and cell quality
I use 3,2v lipo cut off and 97% of charge at 3C. I prefer having less lipos but good ones that I can charge fast rather than more that are slow to charge. I never charge my lipos at 100% because it's the balancing that takes time at the end, it's also better for the lipo life.
It's been 3 years I charge at 3C, I puffed one single lipo and it was a cheap one. This running 3 categories and considering my gf races with the same lipos also.
