That esc is rated to handle up to a 6S lipo. So you need to check on the motor specs next. If the motor is rated up to 6S lipo as well then they will have no problem running a 6S lipo. But if the motor is only rated to 4S you don't want to take a chance of frying it. Both the motor and esc need to be rated to handle that high of a voltage from a 6S pack.
