Yes it was grooved up.
The front is mounted on the inside hole and the rear is on the outside hole, so that is the reason for the big difference. That is with VP-Pro oils, so it might be different with other brands. But I always set my front shocks stiffer then the rear to calm it down since the tracks here have so much traction/steering.
