All needles flush is a bit of a starting point.
If the LSN has 2 needles, the large brass one need to set flush (equal with the housing) and let it stay there.Sometimes the other LSN need to go in 1 turn from flush.
On the other hand, I think it is wise to get someone known with this because if you can fire it up but do not know how to tune it will never go right because a factory setting is also just a starting point. And if the engine was brandnew you have to start a break in process.
