Not true...Im on my 3rd hobbywing setup and love this gear and even my LHS started carrying their stuff as some of the local guys run them on the onroad stuff and the SC stuff if getting bigger. Prices use to be alittle cheaper and so was their product but their stuff has gotten better so of course their prices have went up alittle. Even this guy on the SCTE thread loved his new gear...

Do you know if they changed there warranty policies for DOA ESCs Acill? I was looking at one of those, but hearing how there is no warranty at all, I figured might as well stick with what I have from SP or just order the HK look alike for $35ish if I recall correctly. Trakstar has a look alike too with solder posts for $40. If its as good as their motors are from what I hear in 1/8, could be a budget beater.
If you want a warranty but dont want the Tekin price(even tho they do offer a year warranty)
Falconsekido.com has upped their warranty on HW products and thats where i buy all my gear and where my LHS gets their HW gear as they are a dealer
