I just spoke to Ray Darroch and he said he ran JACO pink fronts and magenta rears in 13.5 to TQ. He thinks most guys ran a combination of pink and/or magenta. I will find out what Joe ran in 17.5 and post it.
We also tested some new compounds at the race with mixed success. It is nearly impossible to test tires at a major race. In fact, I didn't want them tested at the event. I simply sent them to a central location (Snowbirds) so my drivers could take them home to try. We tested 8 new compounds. Of these, we found 2 that were very intriguing. The other 6 were average. I will keep everyone up to date on these.
