What about the Power cap effect on the speed??

I changed the power cap on the GTB from the Giant ass one to the smaller one that comes on the Havac, I was told it should be the same for 17.5t.

Now last night I ran the two 1s batteries I have both @10amps both dropped to 3.9v at start.. and then slowly declined. At 6min mark both were still about 3.8ish or just below.. at the 8min mark just below 3.7v - Both discharged to about 4900mah according to the ice charger - my cutoff was 3v

I have disassembled the car, motor, bearings, cleaned and will reassemble. MAYBE I missed a charge on sunday - aka I was running a battery from about 2500mah or so down.. so mid to end run I was @ about 3.4v or less??

This is different than a 7.2v battery - you can still get good power out of a motor @6.5v but when running a single cell boy do you notice it at 3.. whatever..

I will try again this weekend see what I get.

I am runnning a BMI12rr btw.. we also find at our track that car design really is not a factor in winning.. Older, newer, it comes down to setup and driver.
