Eric, I've been having the same problem in my b4.1. drove great, but had no forward bite. I couldn't get on the throttle at all going into the straight. This was occurring with the BB, was using softer springs on them running greens fr/back with 30/27.5 oils. Also, had no forward bite with black fr/green rear. Running 1oz in the back plus rear ballast and a shorty. I then borrowed a set of gold V1 bar codes and green dot traction cmpd from alex. Then forward traction dramatically increased. Not sure if this helps you, as traction cmpd and tires may just be part of the solution, not the entire solution. Would defer to the fast guys.
Issue that I've been thinking about is adjusting anti-squat or other aspects that might effect forward bite. I'm currently running 2 degrees, but makes me wonder if I should increase it. Also, thinking about lamar's black/white spring combo. However, seems like going to a slightly stiffer rear spring would give me less forward bite?? Not sure on that one. I'll test it out wed before the qualifying starts.
I'll play around with moving the shorty back, too.
Hooked up my ESC in the short bus. ready to go for wednesday!
The green springs are very stiff. You'll likely be happer with the whites out back.
