I've run 3 different tires on carpet, stock sc10 4x4 tires, traxxas slash tires (item 5871) and schumacher mini spikes with the outside 2 rows clipped on the fronts. I use paragon ground effects on each. The sc10 and slash tires are okay for practice but for the race they will not cut it against the shumacher mini spikes. The minispikes are pretty much the standard tire to use on the carpet by anyone that runs near the front.
