Sorry, I thought you were referring to the shock bodies. Did you pre-thread the ball joints with a 3mm screw? There is a little side note in the instructions about that. It does make it easier to thread the rods into the ball ends if you pre-thread. Also, remember you want 1mm of thread to show.
