serious note, all my shocks on our cars where a little loose about 1mm on the upper mount. I ended up using a 1mm spacer and a nylon nut to tighten up instead of the stock black plastic nut that turned and didn't tighten and this got them tight on the top. Is this right, they should be tight not wiggle, wiggle?
The caps should wiggle a little bit. If they are too tight then it will bind and not function correctly.
