Yeah, I don't have the time to spend hours at the track to make all the boosted settings perfect. I run maybe once a month and just show up, run a couple packs and start the day. In off road it doesn't matter as much..too many variables, on road...I can see people hunting for motors, rotors, esc's. I run lrp and don't need anything to adjust my speedo, it's not as adjustable as others with their minute steps in adjustments but all that does is confuse people.
I agree those minute steps are aggrevating for myself. I like my LRP and being a newbie to RC, I could play with that 10 settings and 4 modes on the SXX and feel the changes and understand them. Having 100 different vairables is something that makes my mind go crazy to point of frustration. But some guys dig on 100 settings but I like to keep it simple. I agree with the true spec is RTR, everybody has 100% of the same parts just different set ups. But everybody likes to play with stuff and aftermarket needs. I think blinky is cool and mod, but just don't give me 100 different modes with 20 different settings otherwise I will go insane with....what if!?!?
