I have the 1258 in my 1/8 scale xray e-buggy and love it as well. but have to run a cap with those on my 1/8 scale, never tried on 1/10 scale

cant go wrong either way. just I know no brown outs with the 1251. both are 4096 digital so the resolution is great

The 1257 was originally in my 1/8th, but I wanted something more torque, so I got the 1267 for my 1/8th and put the 1257 into my 1/10th.

You might have the spek RX that isn't drawing that much power possibly.

Spektrum dsm2 receivers (models 3100 & 3520) don't have a brown out issue. I run a 3100 spektrum dsm2 receiver & a savox 1258 servo & no capacitor with no brown outs ever.

This is assuming an ESC that puts out 5a-6a to begin with. Most turnigy, low end speed passion & other ESC's only put out 3a for the bec. That can lead to brown outs with any servo.

P.s. savox servos are noisy. Once your moving you won't hear it, but while the buggy is sitting on the bench they are rather noisy.
well i run a SCTE and a ADX-10 and both are Hobbywing escs with the SCTE being a SCT Pro and the site states "1.3 BEC: 6V/3A (Switching mode)" and the ADX-10 has the Xtreme Stock esc and it states "1.3 BEC: 6V@2A linear mode built-in BEC." and i have the Spek SR300 and SR200 receivers and another SR300 in my other truck and thinking about swapping out both these to SR300's and having the SR200 in my other truck...but want to upgrade servo's in both

I kno, i kno...i dont have a B4.1 and thats what this thread is about but the ADX-10 is similar in stock weight and runs the same shocks and so on, so i use some of the info to get my baseline for this and appreciate the help since there arent alot(if any, lol) of people running/racing the ADX-10 so this is my resource thread and once again thank you guys for all your help
