I know of a local who runs a mid-motor rb6 in stock with great results, and I've also driven another mid-motor rb6 and it drove really well. With rear motor you might have a little more forward bite which would be needed for mod but for stock you're fine. Mid motor gets a bad name, just try it and see if it works for you.
