These terms are equally used in on-road.. but yes, understeer means it pushes, and oversteer means the rear end kicks around too easily.

Another stupid question: What is the easiest way to pop off the turnbuckle from the ball stud? I'm having a hell of a time trying to pry these things off which I know i'm doing completely wrong.
I use a pair of normal pliers, and I "roll" the ballcup forward or backward until it comes off.
Make sure you center BOTH ballcups onto the ball studs so once popped back on, the entire link can rotate/twist both directions equally. You don't want a bind.
