its 2.5mm (well, technically 0.090") 6061. 7075 T6 cost a lot more, harder to machine, and there's a risk of them cracking when they get bent as I don't have the resources to use regular 7075 then heat treat it afterwards. The stock material is 6061 so that shouldn't affect anything.
