Default Take-Off Tire Gluing Method?

While preparing to glue up a set of Take-Off CS-37's, I noticed that one side of the tires bead has more flat contact surface area than the other as the other side(where "MADE IN JAPAN" and "TAKE-OFF" is printed)is slightly rounded. The side where "CS-37" is printed is flatter. I am talking about the part of the tire that contacts the outer ridges of the wheel.

I glued up many tires before(mostly Sorex, Yokomo and HPI) and I never noticed there was a difference in the bead areas.

Did anyone else notice this on Take-Off tires?

Is there a purpose for the slightly rounded bead area?

Maybe the rounded bead side allows more glue to fill the area making it stronger?

Which side of the tire faces out?

I'll wait till some of you chime in before I glue them up.

Thanks in advance!
