I also use the drywall tape. Its bigger holes allow me to add the shoe goo in a very thin layer. My truggy bodies last at least twice as long since i started using it. I go around the body holes, front and rear fenders and between the fenders. That stengthens the body where it cracks the most and keeps the added weight as low as possible. So yeah its extra weight but its less then a wrap and it makes the body last so much longer its absolutely worth it. BTW I almost always am in the A main.
