Yes, get those, and they will do fine for unprepped asphalt, just expect to get tears in the foam from time to time. If you do get a tear, I have found Shoe Goo or Amazing Goop to make excellent repairs in securing both foam and torn rubber back into place. I have even made spot repairs on my 1/8 rubber tires with 6S power with Amazing Goop... I love that stuff!
