Drywall tape works good but will break.
I want you find some drywall tape and try and pull it apart. It is very strong and cheaper than window screen. Also the advantage is you can place the self- adhesive tape in all the parts of the body and come back and brush on the shoe goo. With the door screen material you have to work section by section. Both methods help your body last longer.
