I was speaking to the Pro-Line kit specifically, which is what I have in the mail coming this week, I think its only about 4 oz heavier than the stock, but not sure if that's the entire rig since they're so new and not sold as a kit, its hard to get a straight comparison, plus different motor/speedo combos.

At the indoor track I'm at, I rarely see weight added to the SCTs, except to balance cars. Most of the guys racing Pro or top end Intermediate are doing some insane weight loss, which I find kind of funny, since everyone is ignoring the ROAR rule of the min weight. I wish this was enforced, it would decrease the craziness and even the playing field.

On an outdoor track I could see a heavier car being a plus, which is what I'm racing on next after my move.
