I have a +4 that previously had a 9901 pipe (with the header from a Losi RE10, which looks similar to a 41020).
As part of my learning experience I thought I'd try some new pipes this year, so got a 9853 and 41001 headerb(looking for a bit more in the very short run up to a tripple we have).
I'm no tuning expert, but I found I had to lean out the low speed a lot (~8 hours or more) when I put the 9853 and 41001 on. Now a good bit in from flush (was pretty much flush previously).

The thing is still sounding 'fluffy' down low and in to mid range. Performance seems ok, but not great, it feels as though it's still too rich...

Is this expected? Is there something I may have done wrong and should be checking? I was expecting a little tune variation between pipes/headers, but this is way outside what I was expecting.
