I agree with everyone else. If your starting out and want to have a guaranteed class to race in buy a 2wd. I think the 4wd class will be way too fast for you to be able to jump right into as a beginner and have fun. The 4wd's are crazy fast running anywhere from a 4.5t to a 8.5t motor. I would try to find a 17.5 2wd class to start with and then as your skills progress move to a mod buggy class or 4wd mod buggy class.
