No. The VTX8 is a sensored system only. The hardware and software are designed around that principle. A sensored system gives you many more technical advantages over an unsensored system. If you think about it the software alone in the VTX8 is optimized for 4 different applications of battery size and motor type -- essentially 4 different speed controls in one unit. Add in all the different adjustments and tools, like frequency adjustments and boost - yes boost for 1/8!! Its an awesome platform to work from.
