Shock set up should stay the same to start off with for sure. I would use different positions depending on the track, but I would lean more toward the rear and work forward depending on rear traction and steering. You can try someones set up here, but I suggest keeping your current set up(especially if its pretty good). This way you can actually see the difference before changes are made elsewhere on the truck.
