We have run it on and off at 5280 here in CO. People get into it and then back out when they break stuff or start going through tires. We are back into it right now though, due to snowbirds prep, nats, and general desire for awesome.
It's also funny...people talk about tire wear with mod quite a bit, but my mod tires (mag/pinks right now) get much better wear than the black/yellows or oranges I use for 17.5 and 13.5. Seems to me that there is a bit more maintenance associated with mod since parts wear out a bit faster, but the biggest thing is that you have to rebuild your diff every 2 runs or so. I am hoping we start to run it more regularly out here, or maybe even start running a 10.5 class more regularly to keep things interesting.
