I recently picked up one of these used that came with a 5.5 motor and was wondering what you think would be the minimum battery I should use for club racing? I was looking at 5000 40/80c but also considering either 6500 60/120c or a 5600 70/140c. I'm not a pro by ant means but race to have a good time while I'm trying to be competive if you know what I mean.

Also I have been reading about using 3-4 pads is this on the slipper? I seem to have the slipper pretty tight or it seems to slip and heat up the motor. Is this where adding the extra pads helps?

Thanks for the help and I'll probably have more questions as I get more serious about this truck.
