There is a guide to all the settings in the instruction manual (and will be posted on the website soon. Its the same as our VTX10 series speed controls with the added settings for 2pole - 4 pole motor. All the boost functions, brake and throttle functions are programed the same way with the ProGauge as well. No laptops needed for tuning.

We do pre-wire our esc's now. You can remove them or change them if you have a solder iron, but we did find early on that the majority of warranty issues were related to bad solder joints (either colder or shorted terminals). With brushless and lipo - soldering has become a lost art of r/c.
