Did you install the limiter washers inside the shocks?
CaseyDDR: The new slipper won't fit; it's too thick. You can install the Avid Triad slipper which does a good job. I spent quite a bit to upgrade an old 44, and finally bought a real 44.2. Not so sure it's worth upgrading... I sold my 44 to get the 44.2 and I think it was less expensive this way.
