The bonitos i have seen as well as a few toros have been gas guzzlers, even on a base tune running temps between 220-250 compared to a 9-10 min plus 4 or what have you.
its all in the setup and tuning .... Bonitos are as good on fuel as any other if they are setup and tuned correctly...In a Buggy we are not far off a stock Plus 4 and in trugy they can do better............ But I will say this, the mod Bonito is much closer to a stock Plus4 in mileage then the stock Plus4 is to the Bonito's performance...like apples to oranges. The Bonito makes the stock plus4 look and feel like a boat anchor.... In the end we see very good runtimes from the Bonito's, especially impressive considering the engines output....friggen things are awesome......
