We’ve been trying to avoid the issue of stripped gear and it seems that the recommended way (going for softer, low-friction belts, soft spur gears, and one-piece engine mount/new chassis) is the only way. I tried the EVO-Workshop multi-flex chassis though and it works as fine! No problem even when I used the original rubber belt, default spur gears, and the original engine mount. Give it a shot, peeps!
(BTW, I think the new Mugen Seiki chassis doesn’t balance quite well, with the below-engine hole filled up…)
Nice Mugen... The original chassis I find is easier to drive and the One Piece engine mount is very effective. Although standard engine mount work too.. Car is great to work on and customer shouldn't have problem with stripping
