Rcaer 53 on his video says that snugging up the diff screw all the way and then backing it out is wrong really wrong as he puts it...yet Caveleri says he gets it all the way snug and backs off about a 1/2 turn as a starting point. Depends on the age of your diff spring and if you compress it at first with pliers. Also depends on if you use an allen key or wrench. I tend to tighten mine down all the way with an allen key (the one key (5/64) I keep around), then I back it off around 1/8 and then adjust to feel. That's exactly like the book tells you. You just have to get used to the feel you want.
