My buddy run an RX8 with a 4800 Rev Tech, and with the current limiter in the RX8, he can run for 10 min easy on a 6K pack. But I will punish that truck for 6 minutes with the 5200 he he. If only the Xerun had a current limiter...
My friend switched from the sc411 4600 to a hobbywing 4700 i was talking about. Neither of us could make more than an 8 min race with tenshock motors, but his new hobbywing 4700 runs way cooler, is faster, and has longer runtimes. That's the only "inexpensive" motor you haven't tried, i'd give it a shot.
