It seems possible to put the motor at the rear.
What car is this BTW ?
The rear toe-in would need to be adressed first though, because I can see massive toe-in LOSS the way the rod is angled. And since it is short, the effect is surely massive.
Toe-in gain is something I always wanted to try with my SST, but never had the time *sigh*
