To answer your question from sometime ago. Yes the bulkheads and somo of the other parts are coated. My guys striped them for me. The aluminum that Xray uses is more like 2024 than 6061 the diference is that the color will be darker for the 2024 compared to the 6061 stuff. We did one car in black and one it red and I tell you try look awesome. You also have to nake sure that all the NON aluminum items are removed (setscrews, orings, etc.) Hope this helps.
