I tried it, did make the car easier to drive on the high speed sections of the track (I race on astroturf, a mix of high a low grip depending on weather), on the slower speed sections of the track the car became lazy.
I flipped the rack back to stock and often put 1 or 2mm of spacers to increase the turn in and aggressiveness, as I find on tight and twisty tracks I want the back end to slide a little to help the car turn and square up quicker for the exit.
