I'm buying RTR because doing so would cost the same as just converting one of my LST2's... Also not even sure I'll like brushless enough to care about investing very much in it..
The stock esc isn't 100% waterproof. It looks pretty well proctected on the chassis, but you never know.
You will enjoy brushless. I was skeptical at first, but torque at any rpm and that amazing punch will keep you charging the batteries. No slight lag of the clutch.
