mabuchi motors have no torque naturally. so the best thing to do is to have lower frequencies for your entire profile. i race at tamiya's track here in US..and there are only a few places you let off the throttle (2 if your set up is perfect). so i usually have a very linear throttle profile. try to figure out where you let off..and how much. on one turn at Tamiya.. i let off half way.. so i adjusted my profile to have even more rip at the half way point for the profile. see example below...

i ran this profile as low as 10 with the midway point at 6..then back up to 10. you can run it this low because your not worried about runtime with mabuchi.

ill need to convert this to make it fit the VFS-1. this profile was for the VFS-2000. but its just to give you an idea.
