imjonah - I do recomend a 6 amp charge. As far as peaking goes , depends on charger . I personally use the Rayspeed discharge tray. I do like to put a little charge in the pack before a race if it has sat more than 15 minutes. I don't think a battery should be charged more than twice a day. Maybe 3 if you started running at 9am and ended at 9pm.
