What is rally? Honestly how does it differ from gt8 onroad?
I haven't done Rallye but what I've heard about it, they get a weee bit off-roady with them...thus the studded tires you see in that photo. My understanding is that with the Rallye scenario, they use a single speed trans. Our group is either 'on-road' (asphalt) or the normal 'off-road' dirt with big whooopteeeedoooooos.
Someone else commented on the 'rallye' or 'off-road' motors having the longer stroke in the .21 which filled in a blank for me. I tried a log-stroke .21 this last year in my GT8 and couldn't quite get the 'feel' I wanted.
