I wonder if its from the sloppy fit of the hardened steel pins? Mine broke at the pin hole as well but it was from an awkward landing on a high bite track. The one I saw break this weekend was after not quite making our triple.
I thought this might be the case also. The factory team kit comes with a roll pin that may have a little extra give. I may try that and see if I can get a little more life out of the axles. I hate driving so conservative with this thing. I like to drive strapped and push the vehicle hard.
