We're slightly off topic here, but I've had great luck baking off tires. 325 for 12 minutes. Let 'em cool for 5 and peel 'em off. I've done at least a dozen pair this way recently and haven't lost a tire, wheel or insert. No mess afterwards either

The couple of times I've baked, I've had to replace the inserts. But the inserts are cheaper than new tires and wheels! I think I'll try the acetone thing next time. Will I have to replace the inserts yet again with acetone?
