The reason the car lands better is due to the weight being in the centerline. Having weight on the extremeties of the chassis tends to transfer weight more so than the centered setup. The weight stays in the middle and returns there quicker when jumping angled or slightly whipped. It just allows the car to settle quicker, to keep it simple.
