I spoke with Randy at IIC, learned the voltage supply circuit used for the sensor board is not supplying the proper voltage due to it being damaged during use. Tekin's nominally output 6v to the sensor board. If damaged this voltage will be lower and the D3.5 motors seem to be sensitive to voltage level. Randy measured the voltage on my Tekin that was having issues to find it was only 3v. Put in a new ESC that measured 6v and I've never had the problem again.
Is this voltage or sensor board problem with the Tekins only being experienced with 1 cell? Or are people having issues with 2 cell?
I am about to get a D3.5 17.5 to run boosted with my Tekin...
