Default 2013 1/8th Buggy Malaysia National League - New format

2013 1/8th Buggy Malaysia National League - New format

As I announced yesterday with approval from Alvin Lam. We will be running a new format.

The new format:-

Expert class >> Class F1 and F2 ( 2 classes )
Intermediate Class >> F1 and F2 ( 2 classes )
Truggy >> Open class ( 1 class )

Expert Category

F1 class are restricted to foreign drivers and M'sia MNL league top 25 drivers who must race in this class;
F2 class are restricted to Malaysian drivers only >> Msia MNL league top 5 in the intermediate class of 2012 must register in this class;

Intermediate Category

F1 class are restricted to foreign drivers and M'sia MNL league 2012 Intermediate class from 6th to 35 place in the MNL Intermediate league 2012 drivers who must race in this class;
F2 class are restricted to Malaysian drivers only ( less than 2 years or new drivers coming into the race circuit for the 1st time.

( Ruling doesn't apply to JUNIOR DRIVERS as parents play an important role in their race. We will leave it to their parents decision which class to race due to the mentioned constraints. )

Truggy Class

Truggy class >> Open >> No restriction.

Race:-

We race the same format as this year. Nothing change.
Only drivers scores respective points in your own class.

Scenarios: If we have a F2 class drivers goes all the way up to the Grand Finals.........he scores maximum points in F2 class regardless how he finish in the finals.

Regarding FEMCA class allocations if there's a FEMCA races:- TBA ( Yet to be finalised for 2013 )

However >> 1/8th Buggy FEMCA 2013 in undisclosed location will be determined by MNL 2012 results and not 2013..............

Why this format ??

At the current format......it is deemed too big as a group.

The purpose of MNL is for drivers to improve their standard simply by the constraint of your time, budget, driving abilities and many other factors.

With these new classes you will be able to improve within the mentioned constraints.............and no big hassle...........and enjoy racing more rather than making up the numbers.....

This thread is to notify all drivers regarding the changes in 2013 so everyone knows what to expect and prepare your cars when it starts in January............so then.........anything please ask......here and I will try my best to answer here...............
