Finished my 44.2 build. Too pretty not to take some pics of it!

I'm probably going to yank the blue anodized center bulkhead & cap out of my 44.1 to replace the now plastic pieces included with the 44.2 . I don't mind AE no longer including anodized aluminum fr/rr shock tower mounts, as I feel the plastic versions allow for more flex anyway, preventing shock tower breakage.

3rd pic shows that I replaced the blue aluminum shock bushings with plastic ones. The small gold AE 4-40 nuts are just the right spacing (about 2.8mm) to keep the mounting angle the same as the included aluminum bushings.

4th pic shows that I remembered to lay down black duct tape underneath the battery mounting areas. If you don't do this, you will scratch up the nice glossy carbon fiber (wish I had known before it was too late with my 44.1).

I also did not mount the front body mount, and shaved the rear body mount. Will lay down velcro on those two areas and along the side of the new battery trays.

And I will NOT miss dealing with those thumbscrews!
