Monster trucks have their place. Once the truggy platform hit the scene (Jammin CRT and since) the monster truck racing life changed so you can't compare racing a truggy to a monster truck. I have to agree with the above on the big shocks and tires have a certain appeal. I am a savage fan and they are just so forgiving. They take everything you can throw at it and ask for more. The TVP's aren't the most easy thing to work on but they can stand up to an enormous amount of beating.
I guess all I am trying to say as each model has it's place. You can bash a truggy too, don't get me wrong but I think that the current line up of MT's out there are just better off road (IMO) and that truggy's are far superior on the track.
