I'm considering going with AE mainly due to the above. My local track is always fully stocked as well as local hobby shop. How do you guys like this car compared to others such as Durango? It looks sik and based on the the AE website...has all you need to get racing. I like the gear diff in my Durango because of the durability. Does the b44.2 have a gear diff option or are they strictly ball diffs. I'm fairly new to RC (8 months) what are the advantages to a ball diff/gear diff in a 1/10 4wd buggy?
I am tempted to sell the durango roller and go AE. Any input is greatly appreciated.
I had one of the fast guys at my local track help tune my b44.2 so that I would know that the car is driving good. He has the durango dex410v3 and his fastest lap at our track with the durango was a 16.7 after 2 different tunings sessions he got my car to a 16.4 which was faster than a car he has tuned on a lot. He had to admit that it drove better than his. I am a sportsman driver and he is a pro of course I can't drive it that fast but the car does drive awesome. I am just a little off box set up.
