I've probably tried every tire there is, and here are the results:
Jaco: 1/12 rims and foams are good, weight acceptable, overall decent tire. Price excellent.
CRC: Nice stiff rim, but can be brittle from its inability to flex. They are also a bit heavy.
Enneti: VERY light with good grip. Probably the best synthetic rubber tire I have run. Rims are borderline illegally large so you can run a thin foam and still get a reasonably large diameter. Switiching from CRC to Enneti at the same size cuts 25g out of my car.
Parma: same as Jaco
Gravity: Great grip, no need to true down unless you are under very high traction, love the front rims accepting non-flanged bearings and as a result you can run the front track a bit wider, tire is tough and resists chunking, but is about two dollars more expensive than cheaper brands. Downside is only three compounds are available, but probably my favorite.
Contact: good tire, only tried briefly but they seem to work well on asphalt as I have only seen natural rubber compounds.
There don't seem to be any bad brands, but I have had a few bad sets of jacos that refused to spin true.
